Tools No Writer Should Live Without

The Emotion Thesaurus: A Writer’s Guide to Character Expression

There are specific tools every writer should have in their toolbox.

The writing duo of Ackerman and Puglisi are responsible for some of the essential tools in my writing toolbox.

Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglisi contribute to the development of authors with their blog and otherwise, but perhaps nowhere more than their Writers Thesauruses. I polled every author and screenwriter at Indies Unite, and all believe these thesauruses are invaluable (it is a breakthrough for these diverse-minds to agree on anything).

Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglisi constantly add new writing tools for authors. People in the business are constantly instructing writers to “show, don’t tell,” but Ackerman and Puglisi go the extra step to show how to accomplish the noble goal.

If you consider yourself a serious writer, add these invaluable writing books to your writer’s toolbox. You will wonder how you ever wrote without them!
