Neil Young – A Musician’s Musician

From Buffalo Springfield to CSN&Y, to his long solo career, Neil Young is relentless.

A “reunion” tour for Neil Young is unnecessary because he has remained a constant since the sixties.

Neil Young is one of the great guitarists and songwriters. His quality songs seemingly stretch forever, and he shows no signs of slowing down.

If you are a music lover, Neil should be part of your collection.

Check out some of Neil’s best songs/videos below:

Neil Young – Comes A Time (Live at Farm Aid 1986)

Neil Young has produced so much great music; it is difficult to choose.  I chose to start with Comes A Time because it is a reflective song on life that I’ve related to since I first heard the song in the eighties. No matter what, the world keeps on spinning around, right?

Neil Young – Old Man & Heart Of Gold

Neil Young has been an essential part of my life for as long as I can remember. Old Man was perhaps my favorite song as a child (it’s still one of my favorites). On the intro to this video, Neil explains why he wrote the song.

Neil Young – Cowgirl in the Sand

Neil Young wrote Cowgirl in the Sand while with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. This fantastic song shows why Neil Young was never a good fit for the talented harmonizing group. While Neil wrote some of my favorite CSN&Y songs, he wanted to rock. Listen to his guitar!
